Zyxel USG / ZyWALL / VPN / NSG firewall appliance lifecycle from Zyxel's global End-of-Life page (JS-rendered table read in-browser and verified 2026-09-02). Cycles are hardware models. Zyxel publishes three milestones and we map them in order: support = End of Development (no more firmware features or maintenance), eol = End of Vulnerability Support (no more security fixes — for every model except the USG20(W)-VPN these two dates are identical), extendedSupport = End of Life ('all support services for hardware and firmware will cease, including signature releases'). releaseDate is null — Zyxel's table does not publish launch dates. latest = the 'latest firmware' string Zyxel prints per model (e.g. USG40 = 4.73(AALA.2)C0), frozen forever at EOL.

The entire ZLD 4.x on-prem fleet (USG 40-1900, ZyWALL 110/310/1100) ended vulnerability support 2022-12-31 and hit full EOL 2024-05-16; the VPN50-1000 series ended vulnerability support 2023-09-30. USG2200 and USG2200-VPN hit all three milestones at once on 2026-09-30 — part of the September 30, 2026 cluster. Models EOL more than 3 years move to Zyxel's archived-EOL PDF (linked on the page).

KEV context: CISA files five exploited CVEs under product 'Multiple Firewalls' (CVE-2022-30525, CVE-2023-28771, CVE-2023-33009, CVE-2023-33010, CVE-2024-11667) — Zyxel's own advisories for these name the USG, ZyWALL, and VPN series among affected devices (patched while in support; the lifecycle risk is the fleet that can no longer receive such patches). The Zyxel DSL-CPE, NAS, and consumer-router KEV entries are different product lines and are excluded from this product's scope.
